However, most tile and metal  roofs can be properly and fully restored for  under $4,000.

1. Whose doing the work?

In many cases your roof restoration job will be subcontracted out to a Roof restorer. So before the job starts ask them to show you’re their current Builders License. Ask them how much experience they have restoring roofs like yours!

2. What are you getting done in the roof restoration?

Labour cost

In a typical tiled roof restoration you should expect the roof to be:
pressure cleaned,
ridge capping repaired, and
painted with a primer coat and
two more colour coats.
The cost should include
an experienced, licensed and insured professional to so this important work
industrial quality roof cleaning equipment,
proper insurances and all other costs associated with roof labour.

Paint / Roof membrane cost

The Paint / Roof membrane costs are over and above the roof labour cost.

Quality paint roof paint for average 200 sq metre roof will need around 8-10 drums of roof sealer and membrane all up. Naturally, we apply the membrane as per the thickness specified by the roof membrane manufacturers. Prices for membranes vary depending on quality, tint, brand name, heat protection.

3. Extra costs associated with roof restoration

You don’t need (or want) nasty surprises when it comes to roof restorations. Ask about all the costs include things like:Replacement Tiles; Clean up and dumping costs; Scaffolding, Harnessing and Mandatory Safety can sometimes come into play.

4. No Gimmicks.

I don’t have any promotional Gimmicks. So they aren’t loaded into thec ost of the roof restoration. That means you don’t pay for gimmicks. So I don’t offer gimmicks like steak knives, outdoor kitchens, satellite panels, nuclear energy factories…..
