Roof Restoration
PROFESSIONAL. AFFORDABLE. FAST.
Apart from looking good, the most important job your roof does is to keep you dry. It keeps unwanted pests outdoors and sends water away from your living spaces
But Adelaide’s harsh climate sometimes wins the battle over time. Roofs get damaged. They lose their ability to protect your home.
Our homes are typically our biggest investment. So it makes sense to look after “the roof over your head”. If your roof needs some attention – look after it – it really does pay off.
Have a look around the website for detailed information about tiled roof restoration or metal roof restorations or replacing the old roof with a new roof .
Gutters and Downpipes

Gutters and downpipes are the quiet achievers. They go about the business of taking water away from your property – quickly and efficiently – so the water can’t get do any damage. But when gutters fail to do their job, they sure get your attention fast!!!
Over time, houses settle. And this stops the gutters from flowing properly. Sediment, leaf litter and animal droppings don’t get washed away. The water gets held up. This slow-down gives the water enough time to hang around. Stale water slowly starts to rust your gutters; and rot the woodwork and damage your ceilings.
Trees are beautiful. Until leaf litter blocks your gutters. And blocked gutters can be a nasty problem.
Blocked gutters and downpipes stop sending water away from your home. And water in your roof space isn’t a good thing. Gutters begin to rust. Your woodwork, walls and ceilings can become damaged.
Uncovered gutters are a perfect target for burning embers in bush fire prone areas. It’s these burning embers that burn homes to the ground. High quality leaf stoppers/ gutter guards might be worth considering especially if your home has trees nearby or in a fire danger zone.
Here’s more information about leaf stopper systems and effective gutter guards.
Roof Vents/ WhirlyBirds
In summer, your roof space traps hot air between your ceiling and roof. Roof Vents (sometimes called Turbo Vents, Roof WhirlyBirds) are mounted on tile /and metal roofs. These turbine ventilators are wind driven “fans” that take out hot air from the roof space.
Hot air trapped in the roof space is taken out in “hot” summer months – keeping the house cooler; and reducing pressure on the air conditioning system. In winter, the roof vent removes hot steam from exhaust fans in wet areas.
Turbo vents work around the clock, free! No electricity is required because turbo vents are set in motion by the wind.

I’m the sort of customer who wants all the technical details, so when John arrived to provide a quote, and climbed up on the roof and showed me exactly which caps and tiles he would fix, and which ones were OK to leave, and showed me the specifications of the product he would use to coat the roof, I knew I wanted him to do the job.
John and his team worked slowly and thoroughly and I did not feel he was rushing. And a close inspection of the roof afterwards revealed a very thorough and meticulous job as I couldn’t find any spots on the roof that were missed.
